Russia turns Azovstal into a military base
On the territory of Azovstal in Mariupol, the Russians are equipping a military base, and the passage past the plant is closed for repairs "for security reasons." This was announced by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko, who posted a video with footage on the telegram channel, in what condition the metallurgical plant is.
“This is what Azovstal looks like now. The Russians continue demining and equipping the military base on the territory of the plant. The passage past Azovstal is officially closed for repairs for security reasons of the occupiers,” Andryushchenko wrote.
The video shows that most of the buildings and workshops of the plant are badly damaged and in some places completely destroyed, metal structures are mangled, but in some places there are crane cabins painted in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
